Earlier this week we had our first event at Blinker Bar in Manchester, and it certainly did not disappoint!
Bottles of prosecco purchased, cocktails consumed and some beer and wine washed down some delicious snacks for those in the mood.
Alongside the drinks as ever were some interesting topics too! We discussed the practicalities of calculating carbon within the workplace including everything from how you can influence the supply chains to the type of advertising you choose. We talked careers, particularly how to navigate the world of the 'newly qualified' solicitor in a niche area, and the challenges facing women in particular at this time in their lives where family and career can conflict.
A particular shout out to the trainee solicitors of Slater & Gordon who were out in force showing their support and enquiring about all things "Green Collar"!
