Well last night's event absolutely flew by!
We had a real variety of sectors and experience levels attending last night. From local government to private practice, consumer to corporate, it really illustrated how widespread environmentalism is across the legal industry.
Nine Lives did not disappoint, with delicious cocktails, pale ales and one concoction created just for one of our members! The taco truck outside provided some freshly made tortilla chips and guacamole later into the evening, shown in all their glory below.
In true GCLG style, there was no agenda or set discussion points, and yet conversation didn't stop for almost 3 hours! In spite of our differences in specialties, we shared 'origin stories', latest case law, where we see the law changing and which arguments we think will be next to be challenged in the courts.
With all we covered in a couple of hours, who knows what we can achieve after another few events!
